🍀During the busy Art Basel Paris week, we invite you to slow down for a moment.

Come to the studio of Ouazzani Carrier for an evening of pause and presence: drinking their herbal infusion, 𝓟𝒆𝓷𝓼𝒆́𝒆𝓼 𝓢𝓪𝓾𝓿𝓪𝓰𝒆𝓼, tasting baozi from our favorite corner shop, and resting with their moving images.

You may sit, breathe, or simply do nothing.
A small open studio gathering to share slowness, warmth, and conversation amidst the fair week.

Chen Jiayi was born in 1992, Guangzhou, China. Chen Jiayi was awarded Master of Art in photography, London College of Communication, University of Arts London | BFA fine art, Cambridge School of Visual & performing Arts.

陈嘉屹使用镜头从周围普通人的日常活动中过滤并提取欣喜若狂的时刻，再通过画面的呈现与人们分享这些时刻。他期望用作品为观众提供一个戏剧化的视角，但并不是简单地展示某个静止的时刻，而是通过梳理观众、作品的主体和艺术家本我的维度逻辑，构建出独特的叙事，形成生活的剧场，如吟游诗人一般娓娓道来。
Chen Jiayi uses the camera to filter and extract ecstatic moments from the daily activities of ordinary people around him, and then shares these moments with people through the presentation of the images. He expects to provide a dramatic perspective for the audience with his works, but not simply to show a static moment, but to build a unique narrative by sorting out the dimensional logic of the audience, the subject of the work and the artist‘s own self, forming a theater of life that unfolds like a bard.
