IWE Art Museum is a part of Tranquil Cloudland art center located in the West Hills – nature forest park in suburbs of Kunming. Built on the mountain with the view on a lake the venue presents IWE Art Museum, which holds a large-scale exhibition hall and spaces for creative workshops, symposiums, lectures, artists’ studio, living quarter and more. This remote place is perfect to get away from the
city life and emerge in art and creativity. Since the opening in 2015 IWE Art Museum held more than 10 large scale exhibitions with the number of visitors reaching up to 100000 per exhibition and gained wide recognition in the city and the province. We are open-minded and not limited with styles, welcoming visual, media, installation, sound and performing arts. Our goal as museum is to become an international art creating and exhibiting platform and as a team - to give young artists an opportunity to make their ideas real since we believe that art changes lives. We are open to work with artists, academics, curators, and all manner of creative people to promote diverse and high quality art. IWE Art Museum is successfully operating in the exhibiting direction and our next step is to develop intercultural art exchange programs and cross-cultural cooperation.
