🛹Just look at these wonderful skateboards!

At Open Atelier, artist Aleix Mulet (Bafatum) shared the story behind his unique works, revealing how inspiration, creativity, and a passion for 80s culture can transform an old, broken skateboard into a striking piece of art.

A beautiful example of how creativity can give new life to forgotten objects and turn them into something truly unique.

Thank you, Aleix🤩

🌫️ “Aerial Gesture 09” by Sabine Hahn (2026)

In “Aerial Gesture 09”, Sabine creates a field of suspended motion, where traces of photography dissolve into fluid, painterly currents. Lines emerge and fade, forming a quiet choreography of light, movement, and atmosphere. The image resists definition, unfolding instead as a state of perception rather than a fixed motif.

What appears tactile remains weightless. What seems like paint is, in fact, light itself. Through the interplay of intuition and algorithm, the work becomes a space where memory and transformation converge, hovering between presence and absence.

Sabine, trained in design and working at the intersection of art and technology, explores how perception constructs reality. Her practice moves between structure and emotion, where digital processes become a continuation of painterly thinking, creating images that feel both precise and ephemeral.

🌬️ “Wind” by Bernard Coops - A study of the intangible

In “Wind”, Bernard captures something that cannot be seen, only felt. Through soft textures and blurred gestures, the image unfolds as a shifting landscape where movement, memory, and sensation merge. Forms appear and dissolve, creating a quiet tension between presence and absence.

Rather than documenting a place, the work invites a state of perception. Layers of shadow, reflection, and texture suggest something familiar, yet remain open and undefined, encouraging the viewer to slow down and stay with ambiguity.

Price: 350 EUR
Size: 30 × 21 × 2.5 cm
Created in 2025

Bernard Coops , working across photography, film, and design, approaches image-making as a way to make the intangible perceptible. Guided by intuition and personal experience, his work explores the relationship between memory, sensory experience, and the unspoken, creating images that resist fixed meaning and invite individual interpretation.

🌅 “At sunset” by Anna Dunaieva

Two sailboats drift in quiet stillness, suspended between sea and sky. In soft layers of pastel pinks and gentle blues, Anna Dunaieva creates a delicate atmosphere where forms dissolve and time seems to slow down.

The textured surface adds depth to this dreamlike scene, where memory and imagination merge into a single horizon.
