Ditesheim & Maffei Fine Art Ditesheim & Maffei Fine Art, situé au cœur de la vieille ville de Neuchâtel, se consacre principalement au domaine de l’estampe et du dessin.

La Galerie Ditesheim, située au cœur de la vieille ville de Neuchâtel, a été créée en 1972. Son fondateur, François Ditesheim, expose depuis plus de 40 ans des artistes contemporains suisses et internationaux. La Galerie participe régulièrement à Paris, à la FIAC, à artparis, au Salon de l’Estampe, au Salon du dessin contemporain et au Pavillon des arts et du design, au Salon du dessin et à Artgenève. D’autre part, elle a participé régulièrement à ArtBasel de 1976 à 2007. De 1989 à 2006, François Ditesheim a été associé à Jan Krugier Genève, Galerie Jan Krugier-Ditesheim & Cie,Genève. Dès sa création, la Galerie Ditesheim s’est consacrée principalement au domaine de l’estampe et du dessin, XXème siècle avant tout. Des artistes tels que Piranèse ou Goya ont été, dans des expositions personnelles ou de groupe, confrontés à une production moderne et contemporaine, telle que l’œuvre dessiné et gravé d’Erik Desmazières. Depuis 2013, Patrick Maffei (qui a rejoint la galerie en 2005) est devenu associé et la nouvelle raison sociale est Ditesheim & Maffei Fine Art SA.

Fine Arts Paris starts now.

On view at Booth C17: François Rouan’s Ustensiles d’abandon 10 (2025), a work in which painting is cut, woven and continually reimagined.

Since the late 1960s, weaving has been central to Rouan’s practice. Cutting and interlacing painted canvases, he breaks apart the image only to reconstruct it, creating shifting rhythms of surface, colour and form.

In Ustensiles d’abandon 10, wax and kaolin imprints become embedded in the woven canvas. Forms emerge, dissolve and resurface through its layers, leaving the image suspended between presence and disappearance.

As Fine Arts Paris draws closer, we are pleased to present Le Fauteuil rouge (1996) by Zoran Music, a large-scale painting from the artist’s late period.
A solitary figure emerges from the silence of the canvas, almost absorbed by the red of the armchair. Through a restrained the palette, Music evokes a presence that is fragile, silent and deeply human.
A work that reflect the artist’s profound meditation on the human condition.

Sculpting space, on paper.

Ahead of Fine Arts Paris, we are delighted to unveil a 1968 work on paper by Eduardo Chillida (1924–2002).

This striking collage captures a central tension in Chillida’s practice: the dialogue between form and void, matter and space. Its bold black forms translate an essentially sculptural language onto the surface.

Works on paper remained a vital field of experimentation throughout Chillida’s career, a dimension of artistic practice to which our gallery has long been deeply committed.
