« Apparently in Order » part de l’idée que tout ordre établi produit une certaine version du réel, sans jamais l’épuiser.

Dans le travail d’Anton Hasler, les références et les symboles issus de l’histoire de la peinture sont déplacés, déformés et réinterprétés. Entre mémoire collective et expérience intérieure, ses images font émerger de nouvelles visions, à la frontière du familier et de l’étrange.

Tenko approaches landscape as a field of transformation. Observation gives way to rhythm, colour and movement, so the visible never settles into a fixed image.

In “Aureilhan”, layers of colour, reflections and restless lines reshape the landscape. The scene remains recognisable, yet its forms shift between water, vegetation and pure gesture.

Tenko’s paintings move between recognisable forms and free associations. Images emerge, shift and resist any fixed reading.

Every order depends on a point of view. It determines what becomes visible, how things relate and what is left unseen. What appears given is often already arranged. On canvas, this is called composition.

Painting does not simply mirror an existing order. It isolates and reconnects fragments, alters perspectives, folds time and gives alternative visions their own coherence. Through pictorial illusion, familiar forms retain their identity as they lose their stability.

« Apparently in Order » brings together works by Benjamin Tenko (Tenko Studio / Benjamin Taillard), Anton Hasler (Anton Hasler) and Rosalie Evard (.evard). Their paintings inhabit the uncertain line between the actual and the possible. Like the memory of an old dream or an attempt to trace the contours of an abstract idea, each pushes representation to the point where the world remains recognizable, but the logic that holds it together begins to shift.
