We have two dalmations made of concrete, one of which stands by Yarmouth's oldest steam surviving steam fire engine. We don't have official names for them yet, but many children call the one in the picture Marshal.

For this week, we have a patch from Dartmouth Fire Department. Many of our patches feature an indigo backdrop, however Darmouth's patch also features the Dartmouth Coat of Arms. Dartmouth Fire was an amalgamation of several departments within Dartmouth in the 1930s. They would then combine into Halifax Fire Department in 1996.
