Bordertown Garage and Museum Bordertown Garage and Museum is owned and run by Sid van der Meer. Sid built the museum in his backyard in Beaver Creek, Yukon Territory. Come and visit!

Sid was born in Friesland but he eventually made his way to the Yukon and began collecting antiques and vehicles. Sid also lived in Alberta for an amount of time and became well known in the vehicle community. Sid has won many awards for his talents for customizing and restoring old vehicles. He has several garages and a very large area of land where his projects can be found. Sid is currently cru

isin' around the Yukon in a '28 Model A, '56 Pontiac, and a '51 Buick. Sid's vehicle collection is almost as extensive as his antiques collection! Sid has antiques ranging from ancient fossilized turtles to Pearl Harbour helmets. Sid's museum has many different themed rooms. Come by and take a tour! There is a donation box if you enjoyed your visit. Sid loves to bargain and trade!

Sid just got back from Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria, BC! He was amongst a sea of hot rodders all enjoying thousands of classic cars in Victoria's Inner Harbour this past weekend. Sid was joined by his family and friends.

We'll be back in three years for the next Deuce Days when Sid will be 91 years young!
