The Rockview House, designed by ABC Architecture Building Culture in 2024. ⁠

Situated on an impressive rocky outcropping dominated by mature first-growth cedars, the Rockview House skillfully integrates the natural backdrop with its strikingly modern form. ⁠Overlooking an epitome of a West Coast landscape and the sprawling vistas of Burrard Inlet framed by the tops of the surrounding forest, the house appears from the back as a sharply angled mass of soft beige wood, with the front door recessed down a short hallway.⁠

A glimpse of one of the remarkable homes featured in this year's Home Tour–The Stephanie Edwards Residence designed by Bob Lewis in 1967. ⁠

This home was one of the first residences shown in the Home Tour, and we are exited to welcome it back this year for the 20th anniversary of the West Cost Modern Home Tour Series!⁠
⁠
Designed in 1967 by the Lewis Construction Company, the house exemplifies the liveable nature of West Coast Modern post and beam construction. Built for a small family, the house is still impressively desinged, with high vaulted cedar-lined ceilings in the living room crossed by thick wooden beams.⁠
