Watson & District Heritage Museum Watson & District Heritage Museum is home to over 1,000 artifacts from Watson and area. Watson Museum has a large display of a variety of artifacts.

Come and explore our freshly renovated museum located in the old Canadian Bank of Commerce (CIBC.) With a main level, upstairs and machine shed there is so much to see! Keep your eyes open for important dates and events hosted by the Museum Board and Curator. Open for regular hours from June-August. Viewings outside of regular hours and off-season are available. Thank you to one and all who attended the Watson & District Chamber of Commerce "Spring into Watson" event Saturday, June 6th, 2026.

The Watson & District Heritage Museum appreciates the community's wonderful support of the Watson Museum annual "Pancake Breakfast". "Thank you" to our "Board members", staff and other local volunteers who helped put it all together and to all who attended the "breakfast".
The Watson Museum "Garden Package" prize donated by Watson Hardware was won by Cathy Kavalench. Thank you to all who supported this event.

The Watson & District Heritage Museum is now open to the public for the summer - Tuesday to Saturday: 12:30pm to 4:30pm (excepting Stat holidays) commencing Tuesday June 9th, 2026. Meet our Curator, Camdyn Elphinstone. For further information check/follow our page @ Watson & District Heritage Museum. This year's summer display is dedicated to the Watson Fire Department. Thank you for your support!

Thank you George, Curtis and Tanner Graf for bringing the vintage Watson Fire Department Truck into Watson and allowing the Watson and District Heritage Museum to have it as part of our vintage display of Tractors etc. We are very pleased to showcase it in conjunction with our dedication to The Watson Fire Department as our Main Floor display at the museum. 1942 Ford Fire truck purchased by the Village of Watson back in the day to provide Fire protection services to the Community of Watson and surrounding area. This 1942 Fire Truck is now owned by George Graf, Watson. The vintage Truck is currently being displayed at Watson and District Heritage Museum for anyone and everyone to check it out. It's a must see!!! If anyone has a story tell please share it with us!!!

The WD&HM will be open to visitors Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11:00am to 2:00pm for you during the "Spring into Watson" event.

We are a week out from our Mother’s Day Tea Party!🌷☕️

Here are a few reminders:
-The museum will be open from 1-3:30pm on May 10th
-There will be delicious goodies and drinks🍹☕️
-We have an amazing penny auction! The pictures shown below are just a sneak peak of the prizes, there is more to come!!
-We will start selling tickets on our Spring Into Summer raffle and will continue to sell tickets until Spring Into Watson. Contact the local board members if you want to buy tickets!🎟️
