Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead Historic farmhouse nestled in acres of Forest. In the summer we offer tours, a tearoom and events. Beverages and desserts available all day.

The Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead is a National Historic Site with guided tours. Serving lunches from 12:00 am to 2:30 pm (July & August) - fresh ingredients from our own garden. Sir Andrew was born in this farm house and went on to be a doctor, editor, pre-eminent writer and WW1 veteran. His classic book "The Master's Wife" is a memoir of his childhood in this very house. Follow the winding road

for 2km until it becomes a small quaint country road. This tree-lined entrance brings you to the gateway on the left of the peaceful and secluded Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead.

A delightful combination of painters and poets will be at the Homestead on Saturday. Search the woods and ground for the artist painting outdoors. Lunch served at 12:00. During lunch, the eminent poets Deirdre Kessler, Judy Gaudet and John Flood, will read a few of their own poems which were inspired by the natural beauty of PEI.
