Pte. Sentaro Omoto's Ceremony
It was a profound honor to be invited to attend the special ceremony honoring Private Sentaro Omoto and to spend time alongside the Omoto family.
Standing with the family to remember Pte. Omoto’s service, courage, and enduring legacy with the Canadian Expeditionary Force was a deeply moving experience. The warmth and kindness by the Omoto family made the day truly unforgettable.
Thank you to the Omoto family and Debbie Lee Jiang for inviting me, for sharing family’s history, and for everything you do to keep his memory alive.

Today, we honor the memory of a dear friend who has sadly passed away. He was the talented hands and mind behind so much of the incredible reproduction gear and equipment that made our reenactment dreams a reality.
Rest in peace. Your legacy lives on in the history you helped us recreate.
To our community: We have received many inquiries regarding his work. Due to his passing, all reproduction items will be discontinued. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Overview 10th, 50th, and 52nd Battalion Badge
PS: I’ve heard feedback about adding a ‘COPY’ or ‘REPRO’ mark to the back. Right now, adding this step would increase the production cost and the price for each badge. I want to keep these affordable for everyone, but I’m looking into cheaper ways to solve this for the next batch!

Hidden Histories at the Vancouver Island Military Museum 🎖️

I took a trip to the Vancouver Island Military Museum last Friday and was truly moved by what I found. I was surprised to see the dedicated recognition of Chinese and Japanese Canadian soldiers who served with honor.
