📣 Major Announcement! A New Chapter for the JO Legacy Society! 🎉2026 marks a massive milestone for us, and to celebrate, we are thrilled to officially announce our new public name: The JO Legacy Society Archive!

🏛️✨Why "Archive"?
We wanted to give everyone a clearer understanding of exactly what we do. Our goal is to collect, protect, and share the amazing history of John Oliver High School. The word "Archive" captures our true purpose: preserving our shared memories and safeguarding the incredible story of the Jokers. 🃏❤️💙

Take a look at our brand-new logo! It brings together our classic colors, our founding year (est. 2000), and our guiding mission: "Honouring the Past to Build for the Future."

Hey everyone! Calling all JO Digital Immersion Mini School students from 1999-present!
We’re hosting a 27-year reunion on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:30-8:30 PM at the East Side Craft House in Vancouver.
Tickets are $40 each, and there will be food, drinks, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle!
Plus-ones and families are welcome.

Save the Date! May 21st at 7 pm John Oliver Auditorium

Take a walk down memory lane and support JO.

The JO Alumni Choir will be performing again on Thursday May 21st at 7 pm in the JO Auditorium. Entry will be by donation at the door and proceeds will go to JO's music program. JO's present choir will also be performing a few numbers. Meet and Greet after in the cafeteria with JO memorabilia and photos on display.

Last year's concert was wonderful. The choir was made up of singers from several decades but it was like they sang together all the time. JO has a long history of award winning choirs under the direction of Sherwood Robson, Dennis White, Ron Pajala, Teo Repel and Eric Tsang. Now the music program is being revitalized by CJ Kumar.

Parking is free in the staff parking lot on the west side of the school on St. George Street. Entry will be through the auditorium doors.

It's not too late to be part of the choir, the first rehearsal will be on Thursday, April 16th in Teo Repel's old room. Please email [email protected].
