QMUNITY recently posted a video of an edited speech of Kate Millet at the First National March on Washington for Gay/Lesbian Rights that took place on October 14, 1979 on the National Mall in Washington DC. They used photo provided by me plus an edit of my recording of her speech. I was very much impressed by their reel. But I was so impressed by Kate Millet's full speech that I decided to turn it into my own reel (using the only photos I took at that event (4). The photos include one of me and several other attendees getting out of our car and ready to join the march, plus three photos of the crowd that day, taken from the windows at the top of the Washington Monument by myself - facing West from the Washington Monument towards the Lincoln Memorial. Kate Millet's full speech is so inspiring and motivating (and relevant in this current time) that I had to make the full speech available here.
