Our new exhibit, Li Bo**ee Mishiwayitay — The Beauty of It All, features new artworks that explore the ecosystems that have sustained Indigenous Peoples and all prairie life since time immemorial.

Join artist Daphne Boyer for a guided tour on Tuesday, June 2nd at 12pm. Included with museum admission.

Join us during Nature Club to learn about entomology with museum interpreters, volunteers, and special guests! While our family-friendly activities are geared towards kids 5-12; everyone is welcome to join in. Sign up online or drop in between 10:30am-1pm on Saturday, June 6. 🐜 🐞 🦋 🐝 🦟 🐛 🕷️

Learn how entomologists use different techniques to catch insects and other related arthropods and then try out entomologists’ equipment out in the museum’s gardens! Nancy will run outdoor insect collecting workshops at 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30. Remember to check in at the admissions desk, and dress for the weather!

Join us on May 22 for the International Day for Biological Diversity, with admission by donation all day!

This year’s theme, Acting locally for global impact, highlights how local action connects to global change.

Explore UBC’s spectacular biological collections across 20,000 square feet of exhibits, and discover over two million specimens, including a 26-metre blue whale skeleton, dinosaur trackways from BC’s early Cretaceous, and fossils, mammals, reptiles, and plants from around the world.
