I am pleased to announce that the Bideford Parsonage Museum will be open as of Monday June 1st 2026 until Friday September 25th 2026 from 9am in the morning until 5pm in the afternoon.

We appreciate the time taken by all to help make the museum look its best today. Our collaborative efforts resulted in the removal of significant amounts of leaves and weeds. Thanks are especially due to Michael Trowsdale for bringing his trailer to aid in debris transport.

Do you have a couple of hours this Saturday morning (16th) at 9am to volunteer with a spring cleanup at the Museum?. As spring looks like it has sprung the gardens need some TLC to cleanup leaves and debris. If you have a pair of gloves and a rake please come on down. If we can get a few people to help out it might only take an hour.

We always appreciate our volunteers so thank you if you can spare some time.

This position requires strong public speaking and comfort with interacting with visitors from all over the world. Gain hands-on experience in museum curation / digital engagement and so much more. Work with a supportive team that values creativity and enthusiasm. Spend your summer with us and learn more about the history of this special museum.

This role includes assisting with special events, group tours and educational programs so therefore a background in education, tourism, marketing and public relations is a bonus.

This position is open for those finishing grade 11 or a post secondary student.
