UPDATE: Thank you for everyone's interest in our fundraiser that was originally planned for next month! We have elected to pause our semi-annual fundraiser in order to plan a big birthday bash for the 25th anniversary of the Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation in 2027. We can't wait to party with you next year!

If you have a camcorder that can play 8mm cassette videos, the Tumbler Ridge Archives would love to borrow it! Come by the Museum, call (250) 242-3466, or email [email protected] for more info.

We are digitizing 8mm film cassettes and need to be able to play the video in order to copy it. The camcorder would need a yellow RCA connection to work with our digitizer. This will be a short-term project that will take less than a week.

To all our visitors, staff, and volunteers, thank you for a wonderful summer!

With our five summer students returning to school this week, our full-time staff is cut by just over half! We've scaled back to winter hours and will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays until next season.

We had a fantastic, successful fossil recovery Thursday from Windfall Lake. Volunteers from Tumbler Ridge Outdoor Recreation Association and Wolverine Nordic and Mountain Society and the team at Ridge Rotors assisted museum staff with collecting and transporting a set of fossils from the lake to the museum via helicopter. Thank you to LaPrairie Crane for financial assistance, and thank you to the group who joined us at Windfall!
