Away For The Day Away For The Day is Wynn Park's private Adult Day Program located in Truro, NS. Included in our program is a hot lunch and snacks throughout the day.

Away For The Day is Wynn Park's Adult Day Program for seniors living with early stages of Dementia. Our program offers 6 hours of stimulating activities for the participant as well as 6 hours of respite for caregivers. Our goal is to provide seniors in our community with the opportunity to stay home as long as they can, while giving their caregivers time for themselves. Sunny days are some of the best days and August has brought lots so far!
☀️🌞🌤️ We’ve had lots of outings this summer but still made time for crafts, Christmas in July, music and various theme days. One of which was Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We were surprised how much fun we had turning garbage into art!

We’ve been busy doing some Spring activities, attending lots of music at Wynn Park, a visit with our friends at E’Cole Acadien and we celebrated our special ladies for Mother’s Day, just to name a few 🌺
