The Ah! Centre, along with K Okay Café & Roasters Warkworth presents an exciting exhibition for our 2026 Season, featuring the artwork of award-winning surrealist painter Bob 'Omar' Tunnoch from Marmora, Ontario.

Musician, song writer and visual artist, Bob ‘Omar’ Tunnoch was born in Ottawa in 1953. He is a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and the Colour and Form Society, and his paintings can be found in corporate collections across North America. His use of vibrant colours, attention to detail and thought-provoking subject matter consistently leaves the viewer questioning his motives.

The natural world has been the inspiration for his art, as he tries to portray the ignored and overlooked life forms that live around us. Bob’s art aims to engage the viewer in a visual conversation by putting the subjects in unusual and provocative situations.

Using high realism styles, he also enjoys incorporating other unique techniques into his art to effectively enhance and support his vision, including incorporating gold and silver leafing and using faux-finishing techniques like wood graining, marbling, and more.

Visit The Ah! Centre for a two-person exhibition featuring Ruth Shaw's Sacred Architecture and Kay Gregg's Lords and Ladies.

In Sacred Architecture, Ruth Shaw presents mixed media assemblage works built from repurposed textiles, found objects, and overlooked fragments. Her layered pieces draw together memory, history, and material transformation, creating richly textured works that connect past and present.

In Lords and Ladies, Kay Gregg brings history, fashion, and theatrical flair together through sculptural mannequin forms wrapped in vintage brass rubbings and embellished with repurposed trims and found jewellery. The work is maximal, playful, and full of character.
