Hey everyone! We want to make this post to share how truly grateful we are for yesterday’s 7th Annual Darrell Davis Car Show. 🚗

The day was packed full of so many things such as Bouncy Castles, BBQ Burgers courtesy of Randy Hoback, MP & pizza from Family Pizza, threshing demo, live & silent auctions, and of course the 80 cars registered this year. 😊

We would like to thank The Doghide River Rods & Relics and Darrel Davis family for continuing to choose the museum for this annual event. It is always a fan favourite and we appreciate the proceeds generated for museum operations.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and staff that helped out with all the events.

This year we were supported by far more businesses than we can count (see photo below) From silent and live auction items, ongoing door prizes through the year and annual or one off funding: Thank you! Your support is so deeply appreciated.

We were so happy with the turn out - roughly 500 people passed through the gates this year.

Car Show and Threshing Demonstration TODAY!

Throwback to the 2025 Threshing Demonstration🌾!!!

We will be presenting a threshing demonstration, done by our lovely volunteers on August 23rd, 2026. It will include things like a 1929 John Deere Model D, and international harvester 1922 wooden threshing machine. Transportation by 4 Grows Grain by L&J Farms. The threshing demo will take place at 3:30 pm on the museum grounds (It'll be a cool watch! Come check it out!).

🎃 This community has shown its love for Halloween, but pulling off a major Halloween event takes time, talent and a lot of volunteers.
🎙️If you or a group you are associated with has an idea and the ability to pull it off, we are all for talking with you.

What a Night at the Museum!

A huge shout out to Family Pizza Tisdale 🍕the Falcon Theatre 🍿Canalta Hotel 🛌 and the Photography Club 📽️ plus the volunteers, friends, and family who helped put this night together.

💡 The Heritage Building was so pretty with all the ambient light filtering within while the huge sound 🎶 of the movie backed up the story playing across the huge span of our ‘screen’.

Fifty people or so, ranging in age from toddlers children 👧 to those in their 80s enjoyed a pretty good show in a spectacular facility.

Will we do it again? Sure hope so. Even with the dvd 📀 glitch (thankfully we had back up copies to finish it out) it was a fun evening.

Fun fact: this idea was all on our summer staff. Ainsley and Sophie led the charge with Kade filling in some gaps.

All in all a great event. One we hope to bring back again sometime.
