Well it's been awhile since I posted anything. Haven't been painting very much lately. Not quite sure why. Truthfully I've missed the ease it brings to me. So, today I decided to start a watercolor journal. A place to practice, explore and play. A few days a week to just shut the ole mind off and enjoy something I find peaceful. Remember folks to be kind to yourself. We are often our own worst critics. Make sure you're taking care of your mental health and doing something that brings you joy. 🌷

So, today in art class at work we tried painting with a bunch of different utensils/random objects. The only tool you weren't aloud to use in this challenge was an actual paint brush. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the process of creating. It was a lot of fun.

Not my fav but worth posting because it's more about the process. Tried out some different things. Overall ex*****on not the greatest but hey it was fun.

So, it's been awhile since I seriously sat down and did some painting. I have missed it greatly and can forsee myself getting back into the flow of things as it really helped boost my mood.
Hopefully spring is just around the corner.

Turns out I didn't spend much time creating while on vacation. But did a few doodles while I was away. Looking to find that creative energy sometimes it just hits, other times not so much.
