Throughout November, the Canadian Air & Space Conservancy Museum is offering complimentary admission to veterans and currently serving Canadian Armed Forces members during our scheduled museum tours.

We are also proud to support Major (ret’d) Kent Smerdon’s Canadian Military Unity Flag initiative, which seeks to give Canada’s military veterans a visible symbol of recognition and belonging.

As a museum, we preserve the aircraft and stories that form our aviation heritage. This November, we also want to recognize the people whose service is part of that history.

For a moment, it felt like 1957 again.

Through Conrad Boyce’s words, we were taken back to the day the Avro Arrow was first rolled out, to the anticipation, the pride, and the extraordinary ambition it represented.

Our replica remained in place, but the emotion moved through the room. Together, we celebrated the aircraft, the people behind it, and the legacy that still means so much to Canadians.

Our heartfelt thanks to Milan Kroupa, whose commitment gave the Arrow replica a new home at Edenvale Aerodrome and continues to help carry its legacy forward.

To Conrad Boyce, volunteer extraordinaire who brought history to life through his storytelling and performance, helping us feel the significance of that day.

And to Aura Arias, our Museum Director, whose words reminded us to take pride in what Canadians have achieved and to believe in all we can still accomplish.

Thank you to everyone who registered for our October 3rd, 2026 celebration at the Canadian Air & Space Conservancy Museum at the Edenvale Aerodrome. Online registration is now closed.

We look forward to celebrating the Avro Arrow’s historic 1957 rollout and sharing a special moment of our own: the replica’s first formal ribbon cutting, with Milan Kroupa, whose generosity gave the Arrow a home.

It was our pleasure to be part of this year's Gathering of the Classics! ✈️

We are delighted to have taken part in Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation (ECAF)'s Gathering of the Classics on August 8, sharing our passion for Canada's aviation heritage with visitors from near and far.

Our full-scale Avro Arrow replica continues to inspire conversations about one of the most remarkable chapters in Canadian aerospace history. Seeing so many guests stop, ask questions, and learn about the legacy of the Arrow is exactly why we do what we do.

A sincere thank you to the Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation (ECAF)for hosting another outstanding event and to everyone who stopped by the museum to explore, ask questions, and support aviation preservation.

Together, we're keeping history alive! One story, one aircraft, and one visitor at a time.

A rare sighting indeed!!

Every once in a while, aviation history comes to life in the most ordinary way.

Our Director, Aura had the privilege of taking to the skies a privately owned 1925 de Havilland Gypsy Moth- an aircraft that represents the very days of recreational aviation.
