Museum Interpreters (2 Positions)
June 27 – August 21, 2026 (8 weeks, 35 hours per week)
Wage: $17.40 per hour (work weekends)
Your own transportation to the site is required.
Canada Summer Jobs Criteria: between 15 and 30 years at the start of the job, a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred, valid SIN.
Duties: Guide will greet visitors, provide historical background and offer guided tours. The guide will record visitor information. The Guide will also be responsible for light maintenance around the building, keeping grounds free from garbage and building clean.
Qualifications: This position is open to mature individuals, who are able to work under minimum supervision. You should be at ease in public speaking and talking with people individually. Ideally you should have an interest and/or experience in historical/heritage research/education.
