💙 MAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU 💙

Sometimes we need a little reminder to slow down, unplug and create.

Make a warm cup of tea. Bake some bannock. Pull out a colouring book or start a puzzle. Put the phone down for a while and enjoy something that lets you simply be present.

Our gallery is bringing in more Indigenous-designed items that encourage creativity, connection and those quiet moments we don’t always make enough time for.

☕ Indigenous art mugs
🎨 Indigenous art colouring books
🧩 Puzzles featuring beautiful Indigenous artwork
🫖 Tea and bannock mixes
✨ And more

Come in, browse, and create your own little moment of calm.

We’d also love to hear from you: would you like to see more items like these in the Skydancer Gallery? 🧡

✨ A Special Thank You to Alissa ✨

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our wonderful summer student, Alissa, for everything she has brought to Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Centre this summer. 💜

Alissa has jumped in wherever she was needed, helped with our programs and events, worked alongside our community, and brought so much creativity and care into our space.

One of her final projects was helping us transform our Centre, including these incredible hand-painted doors. What were once ordinary doors have become beautiful pieces of art, filled with northern lights, a night sky and a landscape that now feels so perfectly at home at Skydancer. 🌙✨

But these doors are more than a beautiful addition to our space. They are something Alissa has left behind for all of us to enjoy long after her summer with us has ended.

Thank you, Alissa, for your hard work, creativity, willingness to learn and everything you have contributed to Skydancer this summer. We are so grateful you were part of our team, and we wish you all the very best as you head back to school. 💜

You will always have a little piece of yourself here at Skydancer. 🥰

Sacred Health & Wellness Network, together with Indigenous Elders, Afro-Caribbean Healers, African/Caribbean/Black community members, and community allies, invites you to a special day of healing, learning, sharing, and connection.

This is a special opportunity for two nations to come together in respect and unity—sharing cultural teachings, traditions, and ways of healing.

All nations are welcome!
Come to witness, learn, participate, connect, or simply be present.

Together, we will create space to release what no longer serves us—including hurt, shame, anger, fear, and pain—and make room for healing.

Following the circle, we will gather for a Thanksgiving Celebration where we can break bread, share a meal, and celebrate community.

Everyone is welcome!

Family • Friends • Community • Colleagues • Workers • Elders • Allies • All Nations

Registration is FREE, but registration is required so we can properly prepare to serve the community.
