Hey everyone, Hayley here!
I just wanted to share some photos from our Mystery Night Fundraiser! Overall, I think it was a massive success! We had over 50 people in attendance, and it was so amazing to see everyone come out and support the museum.
Our 50/50 grand total was $1,230, meaning our winner, Lynna Buswell, took home $615! Our mystery basket winner was Dave Corneliuson, and we even had two groups successfully solve the mystery!
I would also like to give a huge thank you to our sponsors:
• Ron Sawatsky Catering, for donating all of the food and drinks for the evening
• Prosperity Credit Union, for sponsoring our 50/50
• Innovation Credit Union and Simplot, for sponsoring our mystery basket raffle
• R&L Feeds, for their donation toward the extra supplies needed for the event
Without the generosity and support of these sponsors, this event would not have been possible. We truly appreciate everything you have done to support the Spiritwood and District Museum!
Also a huge thank you to the 5 individuals who came out and acted as our suspects for the night! You all did an amazing job and really added to the experience! Thank you for coming out and volunteering your time!
A huge shoutout to everyone who bought tickets, whether it was an event ticket, 50/50 tickets, or mystery basket tickets. Your support means so much, and we are incredibly thankful to have such an amazing community behind our museum.
Lastly, as my work at the museum has come to an end, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you to the museum board for trusting me with the opportunity to work at the museum this summer and for giving me the opportunity to put on this fundraiser. And thank you to everyone who came out, visited me, shared stories, asked questions, or simply stopped by the museum this summer.
The summer has absolutely flown by, and I have greatly enjoyed my time at the Spiritwood and District Museum. I’m so grateful for all of the memories, experiences, and people I’ve met along the way.
Here’s to hoping I’ll be back next summer, and you best bet there will be another fundraiser next year! 😉
Yours truly,
Hayley Harris
