Grandma’s Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Warm and Cozy Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups apples, peeled and diced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
