Yes my spot will be there!
One of our favourite late summer events! An Artist Home Studio Tour by the Art Society of Strathcona County, where the public visits local artists in their actual workspaces to see their creative process, inspiration, and art for purchase. These self-guided, free tours allow visitors to get a behind-the-scenes look at various mediums, including painting and sculpture, and can be found by checking the Art Society of Strathcona County website, local news, and community event listings for dates and maps. What It Is

Unlike traditional gallery tours, these events open the private studios in artists’ homes, garages, or gardens to the public.
A unique experience:
Visitors can witness the artist’s creative process, view the environment where art is made, and learn about the artist’s inspiration.
Opportunity to purchase art:
Everything in the studio is available for purchase, allowing visitors to buy original art directly from the creators.
Self-guided and free:
The tours are free to attend and operate on a self-guided basis, so visitors can explore at their own pace.
Variety of artists and mediums:
You can see a diverse range of artists working in different styles and mediums, from oil and watercolor to sculpture and glasswork.
Regional focus:
While not exclusive, a prominent annual event is held in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County, drawing visitors from the wider Edmonton area.
