It has been brought to my attention that some of the garden stones are beginning to fade and in this case, fall apart. This stone has been outside year round for 3 years and it's heartbreaking to see the damage. I assure you, I didn't know the varnish wouldn't hold up.
I'm so sad and disappointed that this is happening. I'm very sorry if you are having issues with your stone and it's sad to say but if you haven't already noticed something it is likely only a matter of time, especially if your stone is left outside over the winter.
I have been reassured that customers understand that it is varnish and it will eventually break down in the elements but if you want to enjoy your artwork for a lifetime, I'd highly recommend bringing it inside. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

Well that took much longer than expected. I had to take many breaks to rest my hand and restore feeling to my fingers. I'm just grateful to be painting again even if I have to take it slow.

I'm feeling so grateful to be painting again after having to take a couple of months off to recover. At the beginning of September, I cut all 4 fingers on metal from a soup can. I received horrible care at a medi center, which led to a major infection, the worst pain of my life, 13 hours in emergency, a week of IV antibiotics and surgery to repair the severed nurve. I'm now receiving physio and back to painting for short periods at a time. I'm definitely feeling super grateful for my health and all the support I received from family during this ordeal.
