Since 1985, the Art Society of Strathcona County (ASSC) has been the beating heart of the local art scene — a place where artists, dreamers, and creators come together to learn, grow, and share their love of the visual arts. From hands-on workshops and vibrant art shows to lifelong friendships and shared inspiration, we believe art has the power to connect us all. Ottewell Centre in Sherwood Park,

we’re proud to offer workshops, exhibitions, and events for artists of all levels. Whether you’re just starting your creative journey or have been painting for decades — there’s a place for you here. The General Membership meets the second Tuesday of every month (September to June) at 7:00 pm. Everyone Welcome! There are Speakers and/or demonstrations at most general meetings (various Artists).
