Art Gallery of Algoma The AGA is an art gallery in Sault Ste. Marie, ON Marie and district. The AGA's commitment to excellence is reflected in all aspects of its programming.

The Art Gallery of Algoma is a public gallery dedicated to cultivating and advancing the awareness of visual arts in Sault Ste. Approximately 24 exhibitions are mounted each year featuring local, national and international artists. The AGA also boasts an ever-growing permanent collection of 5000 works of art and an arts-related resource centre. The AGA's family of educational programming takes for

m through classes, lectures, films, tours, school visits, and opening receptions. Public programmes include art instruction, workshops, films, and tours. All manner of curiousities may be found in the AGA Gallery Shop. Jewellery, books, prints and posters, scarves, seasonal items, toys and more await. It’s been a wonderful summer in the studio so far and we can’t believe we only have three weeks of Art classes left! 🌸☀️🎨

NEXT WEEK- Starting Monday August 10th in the morning we have Beach Time where students will use graphite, oil pastels, markers and textiles celebrating the beach!!

In the afternoon it’s Mix & Match. Students will get creative making collages, mixed media pieces using paper and textiles. Be prepared to get crafty!

Eco-Friendly Studio is a short week of classes where nature enthusiasts will give recycled materials a new life!

Designed for ages 5–9, these classes run from August 4-7, 2026.
