Lesley Belyea Art is my passion! I love consignment work and working with people to create a one of a kind piece o I've been painting for many years.

I have studied and taken classes. I come by this naturally as my grandmother and most that came before her were artist's as well. The majority of my paintings are acrylic on canvas. However, I will paint on anything lol. I enjoy painting dark and odd subjects but lately I am trying to broaden myself and challenge myself. Hey artist friends, does this ever happen to you? For some reason, I seem to have bad luck with burnt umber. I've had a few instances where I buy a tube and it comes all dried up. I've tried various methods to revive it. I'm wondering if any of you have ever had this happen and if you have any tricks to make it smooth and creamy and usable again.
