Come by this weekend and visit St. Albert's Historic Sites! ☀️

Stop by St. Albert’s Historic River Lots + Grain Elevators, where old-fashioned fun is in full bloom with drop-in tours, scavenger hunts and our community gardens to explore. Then make your way over to Father Lacombe Chapel on Mission Hill, where our interpreters are ready to share the history of the historic bells, grotto and cemetery.

Join us for a special FREE event in conjunction with our popular "First Draft of History: Newspapers in St. Albert" exhibition at the Musée Héritage Museum:

Stop by on Friday, May 22 from 1–4 and meet Jennifer Henderson, Director of News Content for the St. Albert Gazette.

Have questions about journalism, local news or how stories are covered? Pop in for an informal chat with Jennifer and hear all about it!

St. Albert has been home to several newspapers throughout our history offering their own unique perspectives. In celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the St. Albert Gazette, this exhibition looks at all of the newspapers that have served our community, and the people behind them. You can view the exhibition Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10 am–5 pm (inside St. Albert Place).

We're hoping for fantastic weather on Saturday, May 23, because we'd love to see you in downtown St. Albert while taking in the Rainmaker Rodeo Parade.

Watch for our staff as part of the parade as we hand out some special goodies (while quantities last!)

Then, stop by the Gallery for free family art activities that morning in our Art Nook. And, stroll over to the Museum and explore our Discovery Room for more free family-friendly activities.
