Rocanville & District Museum

Rocanville & District Museum Open By Appointment during the winter months. Open daily from 10am-5pm in July/August.

Featuring steam, gas, and diesel engines, fossils, artifacts, train station, 2 local schools, a shop, a church & Masonic Lodge. On site we showcase an extensive array of gas & steam engines, antique farm machinery, antique cars and trucks in operating condition. There are numerous tools, household items, art, military memorabilia and books. Large collection of historical buildings, Hillburn church, Schwanz Store, Cambridge School, CPR Station and Blacksmith Shop

A sincere thank you to Goodman Steel for fabricating a needed part for our Rumely F tractor at the museum.

The Advanced-Rumely Company started producing the Rumely F tractor in 1911, beginning with SN 5001 and ended production in 1918. Overall, they produced 3855 Rumely F tractors. Out of all of those tractors, only 111 survived. Giving the Rumely F tractor a 2.88% survival rate.

Just in case anyone was wondering if our oil can snuck back into the museum, it did. Our oil can decided as much as it is likes staying at the museum. It is also kind of likes being around town. So we decided to pull one of the names from the basket and the winner of our oil can will be announced on Threshing Day, this Saturday! A huge thank you to the businesses the oil can was able to stay at. As well as all the people who entered in the draw, thank you guys.
All the businesses that participated:Rocanville Pharmacy, Manetain Hair Lounge and Gift Shoppe, Rocanville Town and Country Golf Course ,Rocanville Borderland Co-op Hardware Store and Rocanville Borderland Co-op Card-lock Store.

On Threshing Day you will still be able to order that day at the Rocanville Museum, the BBQ beef supper pre-order applies to TAKEOUT MEALS ONLY. If you plan to eat at the museum for supper, you do not have to pre-order. Hopefully this clears up any confusion and if you have questions about Threshing Day email us at [email protected].
