Museum Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 11am - 4pm, May through October

The Riverside Forest Walk is available for your enjoyment year round. We are a small not for profit museum showcasing the incredible history of logging in the interior wet belt. Where big trees led to big hurdles and big progress. We have an incredible display of old machinery, chainsaws, old photos and more. We also can teach you about reforestation, old and current logging practices and our forests friends and enemies.

The riverside forest walk is a treasure trove of magical discoveries waiting to be made!
While the museum may be closed, the riverside forest walk is our « living exhibit » and it stays open year round ❄️ 🍂 🌞 🌼
Get to the walk via the Old Big Bend Highway taking the gravel road approximately 250 meters south of the museum 🚗
