Our Story

Our purpose is to develop and maintain visual arts programs in our community through instructed courses in the various aspects of arts and crafts by qualified instructors, thus endeavoring to provide the opportunity to show the artists creative efforts in organized art shows each year. We are bringing together those who share cultural interests in our community, reaching a wide audience including local residents and visitors to the area. Our mandate is to provide a core group of artists, interested in creating and showing their works, a solid artistic environment in our community. This is created by providing educational art courses, two art shows yearly, and providing a solid foundation of similar but varied worlds of art. We provide art courses for the public in hopes of enlightening the minds of future artists who have not yet realized their own potential talents in themselves. We meet every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in our home next to the Redwater Museum. The address is 4920 - 47 Street Unit B. This is the same parking lot as the Town of Redwater office. On these days members are welcome to bring projects that they are currently working on. Our bi-monthly meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month.
