All is set for Saturday August 1 West End Boat Tour noon to 4:00
For kids of all ages, there is plenty of opportunity to explore each site.
For Seniors or anyone unsteady on their feet,
1. Stop at Golden Arm. The ground is nice and level here and there are nice places to pull up, but you can join the excitement from the boat if you prefer. Enjoy trails, music and extra surprises
2. Please stop at Frank Paishk's as bannock and ice tea can be delivered. Check out the cabin. Franks' home for 60 some years.
3. At the museum, there is a porta potty just for the day. There are chairs and cold water in the museum. Dock hands are on hand to help you land at the dock. Kids can join a scavenger hunt here and explore. New pictures new items to check out.
4. Cole Mine is a ride away but worth the trip. Amy Newport has the history and geology here. Stop and chat with the Safe Waters Crew who will be working at Pipestone Narrows or anchored at Cole Mine. Trails lead to old mine tracks and ancient mining equipment so plenty of exploring here.
IT'S AUGUST LONG. SPEND IT ON THE LAKE
