What an amazing weekend! Today the Copper Valley Music Festival comes to a close but we aren't done yet! Got an early start at 10:30 this morning to get ready for some kiddy fun! Ending the day off strong with a bang! Don't miss out on our last day! Thank you for all your support!

Tanya Lipscomb, an award-winning, touring singer/song writer and mother of 3 developed a character named "Kiki the Eco Elf" in 2008. "Kiki" is bright, colourful, silly and highly enthusiastic!
She has released 3 independent children's albums since 2010, performed at 100s of festivals and family events and has shared the stage/opened for Charlotte Diamond, Fred Penner, Splash n' Boots and Bobs & Lolo.
It is her joy and passion to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainability as well as compassionate kindness, musical expression, creativity and joyful play. She captures audiences with up-beat music, engaging the crowd to sing along, clap, stomp and dance. Kiki involves young and old alike, with interactive games and story-telling and enthralls children (and the young at heart) with her larger than life stage presence, inspiring them to make positive, creative choices to better the world.
"Kiki the Eco Elf" delivered her first performance in the Spring of 2008, and since then has performed in schools, libraries, fairs, at Children's festivals, music festivals and family events across Canada.

Leif David’s internationally award-winning act, showcasing his specialty in close-up and stage magic, has been amazing audiences for over 30 years. His family-friendly show can be seen at corporate conventions, festivals, weddings, and private parties. Each show features clean comedy and tons of audience participation, making the audience volunteers the stars of the show!

Princeton ukulele group called UKE IT UP! Consists of up to 10 members presently. It was started 2 years
ago and practices once a week. Our fun loving singing musicians play all genre’s of music from peppy
children’s songs, jazz, ballads, country, spiritual and even rock and roll. We perform regularly at
Princeton’s Ridgewood Care home and at some local events. We are happy to join the Copper Mtn.
Music Festival in the children’s portion of the festival this year. Bring your children out on Sunday Aug
23rd and have them sing and join with us. The ukulele is a fun and easy instrument to play at any age. Consider
joining our fun playing and singing group and bring some music into your life

Throughout Tanyas musical career, there has been a constant display of passion and devotion. Her spicy stage presence is marked with exuberance and excitement, her playing and rhythm is consistently solid and her 3-octave voice sways from rich, deep and powerful, to soft, subtle and sensuous. This Canadian artist has been performing for audiences for over 20 years and has won 3 awards from the Calgary Folk Festival Song writing Competition including The Arusha Song for Social Justice (2009), Best LIVE Performance (2008) and Best Lyrics (2005). With the ability to weave a tale, along with fresh, crisp lyrics, stage charisma and charm,Tanya has also won awards with the Jasper Folk Festival biannual competition (2003 & 2005) for best LIVE performance.
Since relocating to BC in 2009, Tanya has recorded 10 albums, having previously recorded 4 albums between 2004-2008 in Jasper, Alberta. She is currently working on 2 more albums and has performed across Canada playing with and/or opening for superb musicians, some of whom have been listed beside this text.
Born August 14, 1981 in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Tanya was interested in music and performance at a young age. She starred in numerous plays and musicals which included starring as Anne Shirley in Canadas favourite Anne of Green Gables. At 11 years old, she joined the school band playing clarinet and trumpet. She started writing proper songs when she was 12, got her first guitar and keyboard when she was 13 and a mandolin at 16. Over the next decade, she picked up the bass, drums, various percussive instruments and most notable, the Boss RC300 Triple Phrase Loop Pedal. This new tool has allowed her to build a band and a wall of sound in front of the audience's eyes laying all instrument tracks LIVE.
Currently Tanya resides in Vernon, BC, recently becoming an "empty nester" and is recording her 15th and 16th albums. Lipscomb is always preparing for another tour, continually playing festivals, house concerts, jazz clubs, pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars, promoting her albums. A busy musician, composer, producer and writer, you may also find Tanya Lipscomb performing as her alter ego- children's entertainer "Kiki the Eco Elf". Or perhaps playing with various bands, singing in a choir or performing with the Okanagan sensation "The Dharma Dolls" a trio made up of Lipscomb, New York coloratura soprano Melina Moore and bi-lingual jazz chanteuse Judy Rose.
