📞Communication in Muskoka🤳

Now, a familiar classic: the rotary phone ☎️

This iconic device marked a major leap in communication, making it possible to dial numbers directly and moving away from operator-assisted calls. While it became common in the 1920s, it took longer to reach places like Muskoka.

These phones helped shape the region’s tourism industry, making it faster and easier for visitors to book their stays and plan their trips 🖼
