The Caribou and area Women's Institute will be holding a bake sale next Saturday, Oct 3 from 9 am to noon. They will be set up outside in the bandstand if the weather cooperates, otherwise inside the centre. Stop by, say hello, and treat yourself to what's sure to be a delicious selection of baked goodies!

We had the absolute pleasure to get to know a direct descendant of Rev McCulloch during these past two days. Cyndy traveled from California to visit the home of her direct ancestors, Thomas and Isabella McCulloch!

This Saturday, September 19 starting at 6:30!

This year marks the first annual Ship Hector Beat retreat. Beating retreat is a military ceremony. There will be pipe bands, reed musicians, singer/songwriters Theresa and Tommy Gottschall, fiddlers and dancers.

Let us all gather and celebrate our heritage together at 6:30PM, September 19th on the grounds of the Hector Quay. Chairs are available but if you have a favourite lawn chair--bring it along!
