The sunflowers were stunning this season; but they have now developed to the stage that I reference as the Holly Hobby stage. The flowers are now heads heavy with seed.

DUE TO WEATHER WE WILL NOT BE OPENING TODAY.

While I was busy finishing the bench, the sunflowers decided to start blossoming.
Clara and I have been busy trying to get everything ready for people to stop in for a sunflower experience. The field will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Other days and times will be announced soon.

Happy 100th to the Royal Canadian Legion today!
I was very humbled to be commissioned by the Wellington Legion to paint this centenary commemorative bench that has been placed in front of the Wellington Legion on Wellington Main Street.
