Petawawa Heritage Village Our Village celebrates the settlement of immigrant families of early Petawawa. Where we celebrate the settlement era and immigrant stories of early Canada.

Our archives and collections focus on the stories of the German founding families and stretch back thousands of years to the traditions and teachings of the First Nations people. We are a Nonprofit organization offering Historical Tours, Artisan Markets and more. Come in and connect with times gone by - your memories will last a lifetime!

A huge thank you to our amazing summer students, Warren Behnke (a long-time volunteer!) and Flora Njike!

Thank you both for all of your hard work at the Petawawa Heritage Village this summer. From welcoming visitors and giving tours to helping with daily tasks around the Village, you both made a real difference and helped make the season a success.

The last day to visit the Petawawa Heritage Village this summer approaches!

Friday, August 28th is our final day for tours before we close for the season and give our amazing team and volunteers a much-needed rest.

Come say hi, take a tour, and enjoy the village one last time before we close our doors for the season.

We are so pleased to announce our schedule of events for The Annual Petawawa Heritage Festival! The Petawawa Heritage Festival returns August 21 to 23 at the Village and we can't wait for you to join us for a weekend full of live music, historical re-enactors, campfires, trivia, local brews, family activities, and a chance to experience the stories that helped shape our community.

Guided tours at the Village begin every hour, with the final tour departing at 3:00 p.m.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for youth (ages 6–18), and free for children 5 and under. Visitors who prefer to explore at their own pace can enjoy a self-guided tour for $5.
