What an afternoon at the Toonie Tea! ☕️🎶

On June 9, we were delighted to host a wonderful group in the beautiful setting of the Pemberton Museum. A big thank you to our guests, Australian poet Stephanie Rowe and local songbird Sheri Marie Ptolemy, for sharing their talents with us.

Despite the erratic weather, we welcomed 25 attendees! A great start to what we hope will be an amazing season. Our afternoon was full of poetry, music, tea, treats, and conversation, and we’re grateful you joined us.

We’d also love to invite more community voices to future Toonie Teas. We’re looking for musicians, writers, poets, topic experts, community groups, and others who would like to share their knowledge, stories, or talents. If you’re interested, please contact us!

Our next Toonie Tea will be held on July 7, and will continue every Tuesday through mid-September. We can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you for helping us keep Pemberton history vivid and human.
