Bland SuGar Susan & Gary Bland are born and raised on Vancouver Island. Their love of family, nature and the outdoors inspires their art.

Sue loves to paint the world as she sees it and Gary shares his view through his lens. After retiring, Susan and Gary decided to pursue their unfulfilled desire to create. As a child, Susan was a passionate artist however, when adult life took over her first priority became her family. Family will always remain her greatest passion but now Susan has time to return to the paintbrush and canvas. Whe

n Gary retired everyone thought he would set up a little woodwork shop and putter away, but surprise, he decided to dive into his lifelong interest in photography and that is his new passion. They have shared their creative work with people closest to them, but thanks to a bit of a push from sister Danielle, they are ready to bring their art to a wider audience. This is a scary next step, some people will like their work, some won't and that's okay, but the scary steps are often the most rewarding.
