A Fragile Tension, 2025
Stoneware clay and high temperature metal; come 6 electric fired

These pieces were made during one of the driest and hottest summers on record in PEI with wildfires burning in neighboring provinces. This work explores the fragile boundary between shelter and exposure, safety and loss. The idea of home is increasingly unsettled.

Happy with how this order of carved bowls came out. It's such a relief and a thrill when you open a kiln up that has a large order in it and every piece turns out.
