The next Howdy Book is about Flores LaDue, world champion trick roper and First Lady of the Calgary Stampede. Coming Fall 2021. Here she is spinning 75 feet of rope at the Winnipeg Stampede in 1913.

The only cowgirl to claim three world championships for trick and fancy roping, Flores was inducted into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in 2001. She is laid to rest in her adopted home of High River, Alberta.
