Swiss born and trained Master Blacksmith Martin Reinhard has spent a lifetime perfecting his art - creating architecurely correct and beautiful wrought iron for museums, hotels, corporations and individuals. Sought out for his attention to detail, creativity and technical abilities, Martin continues in the age old tradition to produce works of art in timeless and modern pieces. Martin's work has b

een showcased in CBC documentaries including 'Cowboy Country' and the CBC autobiographical program 'Iron Sun'. The Clint Eastwood film 'Unforgiven' commisionned the jail cell and locks, and 'Into the West', an American television series - featured Martin himself as the Blacksmith. The 'Maximum West Ranch' commissioned Martin to create all the ironwork for the resort, based on the movie 'Unforgiven'. 'Banff Springs Hotel' contracted Martin to complete restoration of chandeleirs throughout the hotel.

You're not out of time yet! Willow Creek Forge Gallery in Nanton is open today, Thursday and Friday, 12-5. Gift certificates are available, and can be e-mailed in time for Christmas. Classes are up on the website, and make a memorable experience for family and friends (private groups available).
