It’s been such a long time since I’ve sold my pottery at a market! I’m excited to announce that I will be at the Whoop and Hollar folk festival in Portage la Prairie Manitoba August 29th and 30th! Come on by for some great music from a host of talented folks and some beautiful art from gifted artisans!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I had no idea that when I left Quebec on May 1 that my life would be on hold for what seems to me to be such a long time.
I thought I would be working again in no time flat and have beautiful new pottery for you to see. Well, it didn’t happen the way I imagined. I will try to paint a picture in photos of what I’ve been up to for the past three months, from my brief time on Vancouver Island to coming back to Manitoba. The photos are pretty and maybe you’ll get a sense of the beauty that I experienced. Nothing about this was easy and in fact, it still feels difficult.

I've recently moved back to Manitoba! I'm going to be moving to Winnipeg soon, but for now I am taking some time in the countryside to get reoriented in the province where I grew up.

I'm looking for a good car, a little house with a garage where I can make pottery, and I would love to continue teaching pottery as well. If you can help me out in any way I would greatly appreciate it.

🎉 I earned the “emerging talent” badge this week, (which is kind of crazy since I’ve been making pottery for nearly three decades) recognizing me for creating engaging content. I guess it’s about the content creation rather than my level of expertise in my art? 🤷🏻‍♀️
I do vibe with the butterfly though. It’s a symbol of transformation and I’m going through that transformation now. I’ll be on Vancouver Island mid-May!
