🌾 Farming Was a Way of Life 🌾

Farming was more than a job—it was a way of life. It was hard work, and everyone pitched in, no matter their age. From the youngest to the oldest, there was always something to be done.

Life on the farm built character. Some days were harder than others, but you kept going, worked together, and did what needed to be done.

Neighbours helped neighbours, families worked side by side, and when harvest was finally complete, the reward was something everyone could be proud of.

🌾 The rewards of a successful season weren’t just measured in crops—they were found in hard work, teamwork, family, friendship, and knowing that everyone had pitched in.

🐾 National Doggy Day! 🐾

Today we celebrate and thank all the hardworking dogs who are such an important part of our lives!

Indoor dogs, outdoor dogs, farm dogs, guard dogs, working dogs, lazy dogs, and those just too cute for words—we love them all! 🐶

Whether they’re working hard, keeping us company, or simply making us smile, our four-legged friends deserve a little extra love today.

🍂Bouquets are at the Nampa Museum

Autumn is just around the corner, and so is harvest season! 🚜🌾

Farmers, you might want to stop by the museum and pick up a fresh floral bouquet for your wife—because she may not be seeing much of you once harvest gets underway!🌾

Truckers, this reminder is for you too! With those long hours on the road, day and night, a beautiful bouquet might be just the thing to brighten someone’s day. ☺️

🎂 How Have Birthday Celebrations Changed Over Time? 🎈

Do you remember what your birthday parties were like as a child?

I remember birthdays with boiled hot dogs, chips, pop, and a birthday cake with wrapped-up coins hidden inside! 🪙🎂 What a treasure hunt that was!

There didn’t need to be fancy decorations, elaborate party venues, or mountains of gifts. It was about gathering with family and friends, enjoying some simple treats, playing games, and making memories.

Today, birthday celebrations can look very different—but those simple childhood birthdays still hold some of the sweetest memories. ❤️
