⚠️Just a reminder that our threshing bee is coming up FAST ⚠️
September 12th and 13th are the final days our museum is open for this season, and they just happen to be the best days to come visit (in my very un-biased opinion)

Not only do you get to see our usual museum displays, but you can also watch live threshing demonstrations, tractor pulls, black smithing, rope making, and 2 different parades (one tractor parade and one car/truck parade) BOTH DAYS!!!!!

You get all of the extra fun and pay the usual admission price 🤠 it’s really a win-win!!

As promised, below is the finalized schedule for the event!

⚠️⛺️CAMPING UPDATE⛺️⚠️
We still have some unserviced camping spots available for the weekend, sites are $20 for the weekend and DO NOT include admission to the event!!

If you are interested in booking a camping spot please call the office at 306-693-7315 OR message us on Facebook and we will get you booked in!

With August in full swing I figured it would be a good time to post about our Threshing Bee event!

WHEN: ⏰
September 12th/13th!

Pancake breakfast goes from 8am-10am (additional fee)
The museum buildings and event goes from 9am-5pm both days!
We are closed for the season immediately after our event ends on Sunday so it’s your last chance to check out the museum this summer!

CAMPING: ⛺️
We have a limited number of unserviced
RV/Trailer campsites that are available for the weekend for only $20.
If you’re interested in camping for the weekend please dm us or call the office at 306-693-7315 to reserve a site for the weekend.

PRICES: 💲
Regular admission rates apply for the weekend
Adults (18-59)- $10
Seniors (60+)- $8
Children (6-17)- $5
*any university students with valid student ID can show their ID and get in for $8*

Any adults who wish to attend both days can purchase a 2-day pass for $16

WE ACCEPT CASH OR CARD FOR ADMISSION.
There is no atm on site. We cannot do cash back from a debit purchase. We cannot break large bills.

once the event timeline is finalized it will be posted so keep an eye out! But we will have all of the below events going on!

- Car/Truck parade both days

- Vintage Tractor pulls both days
- Rope making both days
- Black smithing demonstrations both days

- Church service SUNDAY ONLY

FOOD SERVICES: 🍔
- Our burger shack will be open for the weekend serving up burgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks. CASH OR CARD

- Kampen hall will be selling homemade baking and drinks. CASH ONLY

- Our office will be selling icecream treats, drinks, and chips. CASH OR CARD

Threshing bee is our most popular event by far, which means a full parking lot! Make sure you get here early if you want a close parking spot!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

unfortunately due to the hot weather, our horses will not be attending family day! We know they are a fan favourite but it’s just too warm to have them working all day.

We are open from 10-4 today with the rest of our family day activities going strong! We hope to see you out here!

☀️Family day is coming up FAST, taking place this Sunday July 19th!

💲Since Admission is only $2 per person (cash or card), we please ask that you do not pay admission with larger bills ($50) unless your total is at least $30.

Making change from large bills increases our risk of running out of change throughout the day, and that is never fun when we are outside of town AND it’s a Sunday!!

We will not be accepting any $100 bills

We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some people and we apologize and thank you for understanding

Since admission is $2 we will be happily be accepting Loonies, Toonies, Fives, Tens, and Twenties (even quarters if you’d like😂)

❗️Other Reminders:

💲We do NOT have an ATM on sight, we cannot do cash back on card transactions, and we cannot make change from large bills.

☀️Sunday is forecasted to be quite warm, please dress accordingly and bring sunscreen (and bugspray)! Water bottles are welcomed and encouraged for your visit!!

☀️JULY REMINDERS☀️

we are approaching our family day FAST, the volunteers are working hard to ensure everything is ready and we are SO excited to have everyone out!

☀️Just a reminder that family day is on July 19th from 10:00am to 4:00pm and admission is ONLY $2 per person!!! If you’ve been wanting to visit, now is the chance to do so! We will have some amazing vendors and activities as well as normal museum operations!! See our last family day post for more details!! (pinned on our page)

🏎️We are also excited to share that the Western Canadian Nationals Car Show has set up a cruise and museum visit for Friday July 31st!
Anyone who has registered in the car show will receive a discounted museum rate!
We know you’ve all got some amazing cars, but it would be a great chance to check out ours AND show yours off too😉 We are operating our normal hours that day (10:00-5:00) and regular admission rates apply for any customers not registered with the show!
It will be a great chance for car lovers to come see some AMAZING vehicles on the grounds!

We look forward to seeing everyone and are very grateful that we get to be apart of these days!!
