🏛️ Our intern Sid is here to give you a mini tour of the MG08, a German machine gun used during the First World War.

Many German machine guns were brought to Canada as war trophies. Now on display, this MG08 sits on a wooden replica of its original metal stand. Come for a visit to see it in person!

🏛️ Notre stagiaire Lotka vous propose une mini découverte de la MG08, une mitrailleuse allemande utilisée pendant la Première Guerre mondiale.

Nombre d’entre elles ont été rapportées au Canada comme trophées de guerre. Celle-ci est exposée sur une réplique en bois de son support métallique d’origine. Venez la voir de vos propres yeux !

🏛️ In collaboration with the Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums and Daniel Boyer of the Maison Forget, the Canadian Centre for the Great War recently welcomed students from the Panorama program of Explorations Summer Camp.

🪖 On two occasions in July, students received an in-depth guided tour of our collections and of the historic Maison Forget. In addition, they participated in our Life in the Trenches workshop.

🏛️ En collaboration avec la Fédération canadienne des amis des musées et Daniel Boyer de la Maison Forget, le Centre canadien pour la Grande Guerre a accueilli des élèves du programme Panorama du camp d’été Explorations.
