À titre de rappel, ce week-end, samedi et dimanche de 10h à 16h, sera notre dernier week-end d'ouverture au public de l'été. Les événements prévus pour l'automne seront annoncés bientôt.

Just a reminder that this weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, will be our last weekend open to the public for the summer. There will be fall events announced later.

What a celebration! On August 15, the community of Clare, Nova Scotia gathered at Église Sainte-Marie in Church Point to celebrate their 2026 Next Great Save win.
The pews were full, the $50,000 prize was celebrated, and then the bells rang out — by hand, since the equipment isn't ready yet — for the first time in years. Cake, lemonade, and joy followed, with the celebration timed alongside the local Acadian festival.
The $50,000 prize gets restoration of this 1905 church on its way, restoring the steeple, safety features, and bells on the church.
Congratulations again to Église Sainte-Marie and the whole community of Clare! 🎉

Quelle fête ! Le 15 août, la communauté de Clare, en Nouvelle-Écosse, s’est réunie à l’Église Sainte-Marie de Church Point pour célébrer sa victoire au concours « Next Great Save » 2026.
Les bancs étaient pleins, le prix de 50 000 dollars a été célébré, puis les cloches ont retenti — à la main, car l’équipement n’est pas encore prêt — pour la première fois depuis des années. Gâteau, limonade et joie ont suivi, la fête coïncidant avec le festival acadien local.
Ce prix de 50 000 dollars permettra d’entamer la restauration de cette église datant de 1905, notamment celle du clocher, des dispositifs de sécurité et des cloches.
Félicitations encore à l’Église Sainte-Marie et à toute la communauté de Clare ! 🎉
